I am currently trying my hardest to extract maps out of the Prima guides, but they have watermarks. So i then removed the watermarks, with no luck. So now i createda character that i thought was pretty good, um with a history that expands 30 years, as a flash clone.

Not that it would surprise anyone, but an ex-Bungie employee recently posted in their online resume (not saying who or linking, sorry) that they worked on Bungie's as-yet unnanounced Next Project, and that it used a "modified version" of the Halo engine.

Moonshot Games, featuring Bungie alums Michael Bastien, Damián Isla and Rob Stokes, used Pax East this year as a launchpad for their new game, a 2D sidescrolling shooter called Fallen Frontier.

Back when Halo was first announced, there were hints of a persistent, online world. Last year at GDC, Bungie's own Joseph Staten hinted at such a thing. Now it seems like this year's GDC presentation by David Aldridge may have tipped Bungie's hand; the company is reportedly making a massively multiplayer action game. Since Microsoft now owns Halo and 343 Industries is shepherding it, it remains to be seen what setting this game will exist in.

Finally, after several months, here they are. I based it on this song:

I don't know if they're right; I'm new at doing sheet music.

I'll add the MIDI file later.

Hey guys, looking for anyone who would be able to accurately write out the score for "Heavy Price Paid" from the Halo 2 Vol. 1 OST on piano. If you need any help "theawesome1" has on his blog a transcribed piece called "Dust and Bones" which is heard in "Delta Halo Suite" from the Halo 2 Vol. 2 OST and is basically the string part to "Heavy Price Paid". What I'm looking for is the piano part that goes with it. It'd be very much appreciated and I would be extremely grateful for the person/s that do this. Thank you!

Hey guys, was wondering if anyone could please write an accurate score for "Roll Call" from the Halo 3 OST on piano. For those of you who don't know "Roll Call" is the piece played during the Halo 3 credits and I was looking for anyone to write the score from 3:48 onwards. The last part of "Roll Call" is a very soft and sensual movement played by piano and strings so if anyone could please do that I'd be (among others) very grateful. Thanks! Much appreciated.

Hey. SUPER new to this, but I was wondering if anyone had the sheet music (specifically piano) for Bits and Pieces from Halo 3 ODST. I've already come up with most of it on my own (by ear) but I would like to make sure I have it down pat.

Thanks a lot,
Jon

Keyboard recommendations?

Hey all,

Can anyone recommend a decent low priced keyboard? I'm getting back into playing piano (it's been many years) and wanted to start off with something low cost.

I'm looking at:

Hey, if anyone could write sheet music to the song (or any part of the song) High Charity Suite, for the piano, I would be eternally grateful. It's my favorite song on the soundtrack, and I am tired of playing the sheets I have. The whole suite would be awesome, but really, any movement would be fan-fricken-tastic.

This the song from the Halo: Reach level "The Package." The song starts at 3:30 and ends at 5:15 (although I included the ending to this) In the game, this plays while you are defending Dr. Halsey's lab (a Firefight-like scenario on the Firefight map "Glacier")
There are definitely a few mistakes in this version. I did everything (except the last part) by ear. One part I know is probably wrong is in the 27th/28th measures, but it won't sound terrible if you play it that way.

This VGChartz article bugged me as an example of bad and sometimes contradictory advice.

Lesson 1 - Don't Take Six Years to Make Your Sequel
Gran Turismo 4: 89.61%
Gran Turismo 5: 84.69%

First of all, a MetaCritic GameRankings score (why is he using GameRankings instead of Metacritic, anyway?) drop of 5% is not necessarily statistically significant, especially since there's no way, from just the scores, of verifying that the same selection of outlets or reviewers were included. The drop may indicate a drop in popularity of the genre, or many factors other than the development cycle.

If what he means to say is that the earlier you release, the earlier you get paid, then he's right, but for every GT5 that fails to meet expectations or Daiktana that becomes the butt of jokes or DNF that fails to materialize, there are games rushed out the door lacking polish or originality. Of course, since the subject is sequels perhaps originality is not a factor.

Sure, six years might be extreme, and there might very well be a point of diminishing returns, where more development time doesn't necessarily improve things. However there may very well be cases where 2 years is not enough, and where even three or four may be justified. Might not another 6-12 months have improved, say, Halo 2?

Anyways, I'd really appreciate it if someone would get this for me. I am having a hard time finding the title, but you can find it here=

I'm not a expert, so if you could make it as easy as possible it would be very appreciated. I just fell in love with this song, and I'd really like it.

Thanks much!

Ok, so we still haven't managed to complete Bungie's 117 million community daily challenges challenge. So here I am again to provide you guys with a few tips on how to do todays challenges so we can lift the level cap. Fortunately, Bungie is taken it easy on everyone today by giving you some really easy challenges.

Head over to Bungie.net to see where our current progress is at lifting the cap. You will find that we are extremely close to this goal. So in order to possibly reach that goal today I am going to provide you guys with a few tips to get todays challenges done.

Birth of a Spartan is not coming along so well. I have had a few technical difficulties with Finale and have finally fixed a few problems only to realize that this song is very hard to put into sheet music. I cant seem to find a way to get it to sound right. I have the entire song figured out till the end from what I believe to be the correct notes but I am kind of stuck putting the part where Carter is about to recieve his augmentations into shet music. I havent found a way to put that part on Finale yet but in time it will happen.

Here is the song 'Swift, Strong, Brave' from the Halo: Reach track 'Overture' arranged for a marching band.

It's actually a bit too slow to march, but it could be played as a pep tune...

Here is my arrangement of the song "Epilogue" from the Halo Reach Official Sound Track. I have only the transcribed the beginning part, which is called "Spartans Never Die", because it is the only part that is actually played on the piano. No I will not be attempting to finish the rest of it. If there is another transcriber out there who would be willing to do so feel free to use this as your starting point. This song is my personal arrangement and was not intended to be note for note so please don't leave comment on mistakes that you have found.

So, I was playing a videogame on my x-box about four weeks ago(I don't quite remember what it was, but I think it was either Halo 3:ODST or Fable 2) and my x-box got the red ring of death. With my brother recently out of the army, I jumped at the chance to get my X-box fixed. I asked him if he could get it fixed for me and he replied, "I'll fix it....IF I can have the TV in MY room." I reluctantly agreed. Well, three weeks later, my brother hadn't sent it in. The next week, he moved out, taking the TV, which he had already put in his room. So now, I'm left with a broken x-box and no tv.

This is a song a friend and I wrote in 8th grade for almost no reason whatsoever. The title almost has no reason either. I simply looked outside when I was thinking of a title and saw it was snowing.

It was somewhat influenced by never forget.

I am uploading it because I'm curious about what I'll get for feedback.

It is fairly simple to play, so enjoy!

(Folder should include a .pdf and .mus file. I threw in a .mid file just in case.)

I've seen several requests for the song Ashes from Halo: Reach.

Many thanks to gbacani, for posting a tutorial for this (he can't read or write sheet). I just transcribed it, and maybe not too well, since I used NoteWorthy Composer (Evaluation), so if anyone wants to redo the sheetmusic for me with some other format, please do so.
I've attached the midi, the .nwc file, and the NWC sheetmusic in the file

Someone please redo to sheet to make it look better?

Enjoy the piece!
