Slow Weekend?
Not much to report at the moment... halo.bungie.org is updating again, the forum is firing on all cylinders, and the official trailer is still lurking on the horizon. While it is possible there might be some exclusive previews from the next batch of magazine issues, those remain unconfirmed... nothing more than speculation.
Of course, forecasts been known to be wrong... cross your fingers. ;)
Myth II Voodoo3
Only vaguely Halo related, but interesting news nevertheless. bungie.net has a note reporting that a patch for Myth II will be released that addresses issues with Myth II and the Voodoo3 Mac drivers. Definitely good news for people holding off on buying a V3 due to incompatibilities.
While you're there, cast your ballot in the new poll: which do you prefer more, newsgroups or web forums?
Movie Trailer Imminent?
A bit of cut and paste here, courtesy of a post from Bullseye at BadlandsHL, itself a copy of a post made by Zinfandel at CPHL:
From Clan Plaid HL:
From Zin (@work) (Sep09 16:58):A source has told me that a new Halo movie will be released soon. It will be on apple's web site. I could really use a couple people w/ fast pipes to please swing by there a couple times a day and see if it's there. If so, d/l and upload here...
Thanks!

Total Halo Movie
Not quite the anticipated Bungie trailer, but good for a lazy afternoon. The people at Total Halo passed along this little note a few moments ago:
Another Poll
Undoubtedly to the dismay of the poll operators, Legend has brought a new poll at System Ready to the attention of the Halo community. Unlike the PC Paradox poll, this looks to be a fairly small one, but hey, let's crush 'em anyway! Vive la revolution!
Quinn Dunki Interview
Gothmog pointed out an interesting interview with Bungie's Quinn Dunki, a member of the Oni development team, at GamesDomain. Nothing of note Halo-wise, but it goes to great detail on the topic of girl gamers, and is worth a read.
Tank Scandal!
Well, it appears the rumored alien-drill tank screenshot posted to Halocination was a fake after all. Apparently confusing the tank screenshot with the tank screenshot, Nathan inadvertantly endorsed a faked shot. Dang...

Music Storage Solutions
Kudos to Marty O'Donnell of Total Audio, who offered some clarification about how Halo would be storing and handling its music. A snip from the forum post:
The idea of switching disks (Riven) is anathema. Not to worry grasshopper, all these issues will be handled wonderfully, and elegantly.
Raises as many questions as it answers, but hey, c'est la vie. ;)
