Weekly HALO Update
Eek, I'm a bit late, but it's out.
- Speaking even more of vehicles: if they happen to be resting on a glass surface, and you blow the glass surface to smithereens, the vehicle now falls. Yeah, it's what you'd expect, but it wasn't working before and now it does.- Multiplayer UI is progressing steadily, and the team has been tweaking the rocket launcher and sniper rifle in multiplayer games.
- We now have the capability to merge scenarios, which essentially allows the level designers and the Sin-O-MatiXXX team to work with a minimum of coordination. This speeds up our workflow tremendously.

CoM Delivers Goodies

In case you were wondering why we haven't made any noises for a while aside from Sosua Beach's release yesterday... we've got 4 new screenshots of Myth: The Great War at com.gamerats.com/tgw/. And now, instead of you looking at them and that being the end of it, you can talk about Myth: TGW or anything else myth-like in our new forums at http://com.gamerats.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi. The goodness doesn't stop there though, because we are now offering free cutomizable forum hosting. Just to make you happy, we've also put Sobo's Dwarven Island Scenery Pack on the CoM site for you to download (finally!) and use on your maps. And in case you missed it, the site went through a few small changes due to popular demand. Enjoy!
As you can see, the CoM have kept themselves quite busy despite what would seem like a period of vacation. Rest assured, they are hard at work to deliver what looks to be one of the more promising Myth II campaigns yet.

GameStar HALO Video Available -- Soon
A short while ago, HBO got a hold of the HALO video included on last month's GameStar disc, but they couldn't post it until that issue was off the stands. Well, that time has arrived and the video is ready to hit a connection near you. As of this writing, there is only one host for this video, which is not enough. There will be thousands and thousands of people trying to get it, so numerous mirrors will be required. If you can offer 32 MB of space to mirror the video on your server, tell HBO and they will set you up. As soon as some some people step up, the video will be available for all to enjoy.
