Stage Select doesn't like Halo 2 much, it would seem, and likes the 1.1 update even less.

Absolute nonsense, I love Halo 2!

While I don't like the Bungie FORUMS, I play Halo 2 at least an hour every day - I love the game. Love it, love it, love it. I may just marry it. I am, however, hypersensitive to any changes made to the game. I don't like the direction that they've taken the Magnum, and I wish that there weren't people having trouble with the update. The reason I don't like what they've done with the Mag is that SMG+Mag used to be a great combo, as had dual Mags in close quarters. I'm very happy that there's a USE for grenades now, and very happy about the cheats going bye-bye. I like the update save 1 or 2 things, and again, like the game a lot. I wouldn't be bothered writing several pages and capturing pictures and whatnot if I didn't like the game!

Don't you think Bungie's reasons for changing the Mag are valid-- that players were getting headshot damage even when they weren't getting headshots?

Frankly, the idea that the Mag+SMG combo was more powerful than dual SMGs never made sense to me, and I'm glad they've toned the Mag down.
