In the course of replying to a FutureMyth thread on naval units, Santa's Head dropped some info nuggets about the Myth III units. Among other things, he's currently texturing Connacht; the Ghфl's running animation is scarily arachnid-like; and the Thrall are going to be even more repulsive than they were before. :-) Read the whole post below.
If you head over to the Creation website, you will find three new upcoming projects listed. The first is MythWarrior, which strongly suggests some sort of conversion of MechWarrior to Myth. The second project is The Coming Of The Dark: Banks Of The Ire, which must be a continuation of the group's The Coming Of The Dark series. Finally, there is an image of a warrior with the text Swamp Of The Damned. All that I can come up with is that it is another Myth solo campaign.
In addition to these projects, the Creation team has a new member; Synapsed will be working on PC scripting for The Seventh God, a completely new scenario for Myth II, which should be available some time before the apocalypse.
The guys at Clanger.com have apparently been talking to the Myth III team on a regular basis, and they got Scott Campbell to answer a few preliminary questions. Among other things, he mentions more TFL-esque gameplay and a solid deadline of Christmas. Anony of the MythWolfAge.Com website passed on that they would love to hear your Myth III suggestions. Their plan is to choose the best and the brightest ideas, and then forward them to Mumbo Jumbo. Ideas may be sent to suggestions@mythwolfage.com.

CAGES is a massive Total Conversion that only had one multiplayer level, but it's a fun one. Troll kindly stripped just that level into a 3.5 MB archive so we don't have to download the massive solo levels. Along with the move, The Mill hase received a new site design. Also currently functional is The Sims online archive. The main Evihcra.com site has a poll asking which games you want added to their archive, so you'd better go vote!
Kudos to Circumflex, who pointed out a MacCentral item which reports that Mumbo Jumbo has hired Duane Johnson, a programmer known for his work porting games to and programming on the Mac. An excerpt:
In addition to the original development of Myth III, Mumbo Jumbo is managing MacPlay's game conversions for 2001. It appears that those efforts are what Johnson will be helping Mumbo Jumbo with.
So it appears he won't be directly involved with Myth III, but it seems unlikely that he would have nothing to do with it. Always good to see a bit more commitment to cross platform development.
