no new crap !! get to the old stuff!!!! i think they should concentrait on one game that they made awesom and thats halo........ face it bungie isnt some HUDGE company.... if u look at RARE (nintendos lead game producer) they have the ability to make numerous games at once. they have a really good game they work on and then a bunch of so so games, but since bungie is a bunch of hardcore gamers at heart they make great games but not like other companys that are like production lines, bungie takes the time to put heart and soul into every game they make and THATS 1 degree of seperation. shibby

Halo is old?

Actually, all the games I listed there are older than Halo. And all made by Bungie :)

As for Bungie... they aren't a *company* at all, they're a subgroup of Microsoft's game division-- hence the change from Bungie Software, Inc. when they were independent (and small) to Bungie Studios.

However, as a matter of Bungie history, one might make the observation that things started to go a bit south when they expanded into Bungie West and began their first real attempt at having two separate teams working on separate games at different locations (Oni).

However, regardless they've usually had one team working on one game in the near term while another works on something else. Work on Halo began around the time Myth 2 was being done, and most assumed that work on Phoenix began while Halo was being done.

One might have assumed from this that Phoenix would have been released between Halo 1 and 2; now I'd say it looks doubtful that anything done by the Phoenix team will see light of day before 2004. But I could be wrong.

Gnop was a version of Pong written by the progenitors of Bungie back in their very early days. My understanding is that it can actually be found on the Mac Action Sack collection...
