[image:6716 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]Those who never give release dates other than "when it's done" (or "November 15", as the case may be) have now given something fairly close to one: Frankie has posted at Bungie.net that Halo 2 will ship in the Fall of 2004, in extension to their announcement last Spring that the game would not ship in 2003.

To tide us over until then-- remember, most expected the game to be out for last Christmas, and then perhaps this Spring or Summer-- we've been allowed to see the first shot of multiplayer Halo 2 action. We've archived it in our Halo 2 gallery.
