The Wide Load points out the latest newspost at Wideload (boy is that going to be a hard distinction to keep making) that confirms the announcement of Wideload Shorts' web-based game Cyclomite debuting on GarageGames' InstantAction site early next year and already previewed by 1Up.

Feel free to call The Wide Load TWL. Thats what I have been doing. Its too long to type. On a related note, I have always thought Rampancy was an awesome name for a website, so nice work there :)

In reply to: Re: Cyclomite ConfirmedDon't credit me-- Ferrex registered the name, back when the site he was working on with Malory and then Noctavis was called "The Core". The site that Noctavis and I had tried to start prior to that had been the boringly named 'HaloNews'.
Before I actually joined the staff proper I was invited to participate in discussions between them about the future of the site; I sided with Rex against Noct that the name "rampancy" was perfect because was broad enough to include almost any Bungie game without breaking down into subsites, and yet still strongly identified with Bungie.
Rex did the logo, too, which is how it ended up as a player icon in Halo 2 and Halo 3 :)
