An anonymous source at Apple has, via email, suggested that Apple has a new, high quality Halo trailer (possibly the rumored official one), which is to be featured in Apple's Quicktime Showcase in the near future. The quality has been compared to the recent Star Wars: Episode 1 trailer, though no more info was forthcoming.

While I can't vouch for an anonymously supplied rumor, it certainly fits with the info that we have already: Bungie will be releasing a better trailer, which is supposed to occur soon, and Apple and Bungie have been working together in promoting Halo. I'm working on confirmation and more info, but the email addy appears to be spoofed... stay tuned.
