Capt Crunch comes to us with word that his new copy of Newsweek cites Halo as the Xbox's premiere launch title. You can find it online as well. No real suprise there, as the field seems bereft of serious competitors for the title. Unless, of course, you're a snowboarder:

And newcomer Microsoft emphasized epic realism in the lush alien shooter Halo and the vertiginous snowboarding game Amped.

It's a sad day when a snowboarding game gets a twenty-five-cent adjective like vertiginous applied to it while Halo gets stuck with four-letter words like epic and lush . Vengeance shall be had.
