Another day, another correction... MacWEEK's Dan Turner writes regarding yesterday's post about a post on Wednesday:

The information about 16 v. 16 gameplay and Bungie.net came to us from Chris Breen at Macworld (it was a Macworld, not MacWEEK, story, by the way) who got it directly from Peter Tamte of Bungie. I don't know who at Bungie contradicted this, but they should talk amongst themselves. Of course, they could both be right, since the game is a year from done, and many features may come and go.

Ack, my bad about miscrediting MacWEEK there... I don't think anyone can be blamed for mistakes on Wednesday, though. The torrent of information and misinformation was so frenzied that you could barely tell fact from fiction. At times, it was hard to tell who was saying what, and what about.

But like I said yesterday, believe nothing you hear and only half of what you read. This page included. ;)
