Kudos to those readers who pointed out the new German Halo preview (several of whom cited halo.bungie.org and Inside Mac Games as their sources) at Gamestar. HBO has posted a translation of the text, but I'm having a bit of difficulty getting over there, so no comment on that part just yet.

However, the truly glorious thing about this preview has to be the two jumbo sized screenshots. At 1152x864, they're the first ones large enough to serve as proper desktops on higher resolution monitors... must haves. The thought of playing Halo at that resolution on a 20 monitor is enough to make your skin tingle, no?
