  2. More Halo on PS2 Hints

Fri, 04/28/2000 - 11:46 by ferrex

As posted by Pfhor in the forum, ps2.ign.com is reporting even more rumors and speculation that Rockstar will be porting not only Oni to the PS2, but Halo as well. An excerpt:

While no official sources could confirm the PS2 game's existence, Bungie has said that it's looking into next-generation systems, including both PlayStation2 and Dreamcast. Still, despite the denials, publisher Rockstar has the console rights to Halo, and has said on the record that the company is definitely considering bringing it PlayStation2. Rockstar has unofficial plans to bring Halo to PS2 in 2001, possibly in online form.

The article goes on to reveal that Rockstar has console rights to Bungie's next four games--Oni, Halo, and two unannounced titles! Another must read... a busy day!

Also, our thanks to ps2.ign.com for the credit for the Gamestar movie--if you're having download difficulties with either of our mirrors, they too have posted a copy, and I imagine their servers are more than enough to handle the load. Wonder if Bullseye ever expected his work to be seen by so many people... ;)
