Time flies when you're having fun... this week will mark the third anniversary of Myth, which started to ship and arrive on November 7th, 1997. The official launch date was November 14-15th, though, and already some special events are brewing up, as evidenced by this note from Giliath:

Well ya'll... since we've been playin' this crazy game for nearly three years now, some of us thought it would be (at least) oddly surreal to get everyone together, stuff the rooms of M1 full again, and have a great time seeing all the folks who made Myth: TFL such a great place to be!
The original release date for Myth: TFL was November 14th, 1997, but Tuesday seemed like an awkward day to get most folks together, so how about we get together on Saturday, November 18th. Although it is an All-day event, I've invited FoG n Friends to gather between the hours of 10:00pm-2:00am Chicago Standard Time (of course Chicago time, for the home whence came Myth: TFL!)
In addition to this, Gil points out that several M2 to M1 map conversions, courtesy of Project Magma, are available for download at The Mill, though I imagine most of the revellers there will be enjoying a few of the classics.
