The second map offered with the EBGames Myth III pre-order package is now online for all to download and enjoy. Here is the description:

The (4-team) variation gives you the ability to trade for Lyche. These seem to be quite long ranged units, longer than the Pack Mages, so therefore they may or may not add balance to the map. (ie Trow Iron Warrior Lyche Pack Mage Trow Iron Warrior). Seems though that if a TIW is standing still, a Lyche can kill it in 7 blasts of rage, unmoving Pack Mages die in one blast of rage.

The file is 5 MB and is .zip compressed. When uncompressed, the map is a .tag file, which I'm assuming is the universal format for Myth III maps. If so, then Mac users should be able to download Tides of Rhianon now and use the map when Myth III is finally shipped. This is unlike Pepper Heights, which is still only available in .exe format (Anyone care to remedy this?).
