I caught this both at Bungie.net and the Myth Townhall. The Myth World Cup 2000 website is now accepting registrations from teams who wish to participate in the tournament.

The MWC is the biggest and most popular tournament in the Myth community, now entering its third year. In the previous two years it was overseen by Chris Butcher, who is now an employee of Bungie and has passed the torch on to Stinger and his crew. The listing of names working on this thing should give you an idea of just how large the event is. Luck to those who cast their hats in the ring!
