In yet another shocker in this day of shocks, Take Two Interactive has announced their continuation of the Myth series, which it recently obtained from Bungie Software in a settlement following its assimilation by Microsoft... Myth III: Arena.

While industry pundits are still excitedly gibbering about id's response to this clear challenge to their FPS superiority, Take Two promises that Myth III will "continue in the feel and tradition" of it's predecessors, while still adding the pulse pounding action today's gamers expect from a game in which people run at 90mph through bathroom sized rooms shooting rockets at each other.

Although a more complete announcement and PR have yet to make their way into the news channels, Epic has already announced that "Unreal 2 will blow it away." More power to ya, guys!
