First reported by TechTV, then posted about in the HBO forum, Microsoft has recently made it official that they are acquiring Digital Anvil. Digital Anvil has been hard at work on Freelancer for some time, and this makes one wonder if the highly-anticipated game may be coming to the X-Box. Microsoft's other acquired companies include FASA Interactive, Access Software and our very own Bungie.
