Yeroen, Bungie's Webmeister, has just announced that Bungie will be supplying the E-3 Halo movie for free download via the Internet.

Halo Preview and E3 Report at PC.Ign
Kudos to CyberBob for informing us of a new E3 Halo report done by PC.Ign.Com. The first part, a report on the movie, was done by Luxor of Halo Vault. Luxor reports some information on frame rates, among other things. The second part is an older preview of the game as it looked around MWSF. Go take a look.
Want the E3 Halo Movie on DVD? Vote!
I think that the one question I've been hit with the most is, Noc! When are we going to see that movie? Well here's your chance! Bungie is holding a poll on whether you'd be willing to purchase the E3 movie on DVD, complete with Dolby 5.1 audio. (And I can tell you that the audio was an experience... at one point you heard bullets ricocheting off the wall right next to your ear)
Hiring Lab Rats: No Experience Necessary
The Bungie.Net website has posted a link to a new survey being done regarding online communities. Since the Bungie fan community is one of the more unusual and eccentric such groups on the 'Net, methinks we should definitely have some representation there. If you're interested, then please participate.
They're Everywhere!
While on our sticker-slapping run in a Bungie-unendorsed game of Bungie Sticker Tag at E3, Bravehamster and I got a small bit of audio to share with you. We accosted Doug Zartman while the poor guy was taking a break and got him to give us his now famous (for Marathon gamers) rendition of they're everywhere! The audio isn't the best and you may need to kick your volume up a bit, but it was just another part of the fun at E3. Kudos to BH for having his recorder handy and for digitizing the audio into a WAV!
A Few E3 Halo Photos
You've probably already seen some of these images, but I figure it can't hurt to post our own copies up. I'm rather frustrated that most of my own shots didn't turn out well but DeusExMachina was happy to supply me with a few of his.
Official Halo Backstory Online
A new page up at Marathon's Story today, covering the Official Halo Backstory thus far. Compiling all of the known story items to date, this page is certainly one to check out if you want to see how things have evolved over the last nine months. The seeds of a Halo's Story, perhaps?
One More Article
One last article to wrap up our E3 coverage this year, which I think went rather well (thanks to everyone for putting up with the lax news reporting during that time). This last Halo article covers the few points I managed to miss in the first two, among other things:
GameStar's May 2000 Halo Preview Translated
It took a little while to crank out but we've got GameStar Magazine's May 2000 Halo preview translated and ready for your perusal. As before, CyberBob of Halo World deserves my thanks for collaborating on the translation. Here's a quick clipping:
Getting to the Bottom of Bungie.Org's BS
If you've been participating in the Bungie fan community for the last couple of weeks then you've probably been aware of the curious link at Bungie.org's main page. Many speculated for awhile that it could have something to do with the coincidental degradation of the Core before its relaunch as R.net.
The tru7h was finally revealed as Freewill announced the creation of bs.bungie.org, a Bungie sightings archive.
