Halo 3 Vs PS3 Launch Rumored

IGN is spreading a rumor that Bungie is already hard at work on Halo 3, and that it will be timed for simultaneous release with Sony's next-generation console, the PlayStation3, just to try and steal the wind out of Sony's sails. A nice idea, but not much other than unnamed sources to back it up. Thanks HBO. (Pass the sodium chloride. Also, do we now have to officially start calling the Xbox a 'this-generation console'? --Ed)

AHH NOO! They put 3 years work into Halo 2!! What happened to that!?!!?!? Is Halo 3 going to be half-ass just like Halo 2?! If they dare attempt to produce what I feel should be nearing the end of the line of Halo's, they should make it good. (In my opinion they should make 4 halo's.. you know, 4 rings, 4 games..!) Could they possibly put a bunch of the eliminated Halo 2 content into Halo 3 and just add some more stuff..? This just doesn't seem right. I want to get inside Bungie's head!.. they don't make sense to me! Plus, I'm still waiting for Halo 1.5 ahahah.. I try to imagine that Halo 2 didn't come out and that they're secretly working on the 'real' Halo 2, to be released the 2005 Holiday Season. Been a while since I've posted anything, always nice to know I can come back and make fun of Halo 2. ---Wanted9867---

Keep in mind, that bit about expanding their staff was denied by Bungie. Bungie is now a lot larger than they've ever been before-- doubling in size would make them... well, there might be room for all of them inside an Xbox, but it'd be cramped.

Bungie has never made a game with bots; I'd place bets against them being included in Halo 3-- if there is such a game.
