2. Itunes Store Spills Sandwich Cookie Secret

If you were one of the (undoubtedly) many who grabbed the Halo 3 Official Soundtrack from the iTunes Store since it became available in the last 24 hours, take a look at disc 2, track 5.

"No More Dead Hereos"

From any other game publisher, of course, this would be attributed to a simple clerical error, either by Bungie or by Apple. However, since this is Bungie and Halo, it is obviously a cleverly-hidden hint for faithful Bungie fans that the Master Chief will soon have his own line of heroic sandwich cookies.

wtf? I don't get it. I'm trying hard, and I'm guessing this article is alluding to something in regards to Oreos, but I still don't see it.

Please explain.

If you haven't bought the Halo 3 OST from the iTunes store, you'll have to look closely at the screenshot. Click it to see a larger version.

For those who need it (ahem) spelled out:
The name of the track is supposed to be "No More Dead Heroes" but in iTunes it is spelled "No More Dead Hereos". Like Oreos. Like cookies. Get it?
No yodeling. There is one pop "inspired by Halo" track. The rest is all the instrumental music from the game: strings, percussion, piano, horns, and choral vocals. Very little guitar this time around.

No. Just pay the $10 at Sumthing Digital (sumthingdigital.com) for the two-album set, because you don't want to make Marty have to go back to writing vitamin jingles for a living.

Shame on you, trying to steal Marty's hard work. Shame, shame, shame.

I just picked mine up from Borders - with the exception of that last track, it's fantastic. And I want Hereos.
