Bungiefen attending the Mac World Expo in New York this coming July are going to have a special treat. Here's the huge PR we received from Freewill:

You may remember me as the organizer of the Bungie/Myth Fan Gatherings. They were a blast! If you attended, I applaud you because it would not have been a success without your participation.

However, I've always felt that one very important key ingredient was missing:

Mr. Hamish Sinclair, the creator and maintainer of Marathon's Story page. I mean really, is there any other person more worthy? For close to 5 years he has pursued the tru7h and nothing but the tru7h. Others have come and gone, and there are some that currently match his dedication. But being the first and oldest means being the best and wisest. How does one salute such a gentleman?

Simple, get him the heck over here and PARRRRTY!!!

So an idea was born and the gears turned... slowly. The requisite sacrifices and spells were cast until the Gods were finally appeased...

We have pitched together and are flying Hamish into town for Macworld Expo New York. You heard right! Through the days of July 19-21, Mr. Sinclair will be seen moving from booth to booth at the Jacob Javits Center, soaking in all that Apple sunshine. Rumor has it he may even hang around the Bungie booth!

If you weren't sure you were coming, maybe this will tip the scales in the Expo's favor. I mean, how often does one get to shake hands with the most Rampant Perl script every created!? :)

It should be very cool for those of you who can attend, and hopefully we'll be getting another good dose of Halo information then. If you are anything like the procrastinator I am, then it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to start planning now. ;-)
