For those of you don't know, Doug Zartman was formerly Bungie's head spin-doctor and the Voice of Bob. After Bungie's acquisition by Microsoft, he took a position within the great Windowed Fortress' marketing department.

Little has been heard of Doug's doings and whereabouts in the last while, except for perhaps a post at HBO. However, a few days ago a visitor named Hobeaux posted an E-mail to our forum that he apparently received regarding a MechWarrior community site. Here's a blurb:

Before MechWarrior-Universe.com opens for business, Doug Zartman, webmaster of the site, would like to request submissions for the community section -- ComStar's Branch of Stellar Relations. All submissions must be sent to webmaster@mechwarrior-universe.com. .Don't delay, as we hope to launch the site as early as next week!

Well... MechWarrior III and IV have both been handled to some extent by Microsoft. We certainly wish Doug well in whatever he's up to. And if you're reading this, Doug, stop in to let us know how you're doing!
