[image:4174 left hspace=5 vspace=5 border=0]Gearbox has posted a screenshot of the Halo Editor, called Sapien. Dolbex, who has been testing PC Halo, described the program as easy to use over at his site, Been Mawed.

We've created a subgallery for screenshots of Sapien and added this shot.

UPDATE: We've received several more images of Sapien from Steve of Forerunners.org, as well as some images of Guerilla.

Brian posted an update in the HBO forum about the status of the Mythica archive he created, which became the gold standard in Halo movie archives in a relatively short period due to its fantastic performance. He writes:

Whenever mythica does come back, there will be some changes. It'll have a lot less total capacity than before (30Mb/sec to start, down from 100Mb/sec), most importantly. There will also likely be a cap on how fast any one client can download from the server (something in the range of 1.5Mb/sec), and I'm not going to let single clients download several gigabytes in a day as has frequently happened in the past. None of this is final yet, but it should give an idea of what will happen.

The archive hasn't returned yet because the server itself hasn't yet come back from the last hosting facility, which went out of business.

In the meantime, Rampancy is willing to offer some of its capacity (admittedly, at best only 10% of Mythica's capacity at its peak) for hosting movies that have become difficult to find. Some we may already have. So if there's a movie you're looking for, but having trouble downloading, post in our Wanted Movies thread, or send me an email.

Captain Spark over at HBO has eleven new mp3 selections to their prodigious collection of Halo Dialogue Snippets, which now features over 100 clips of Halo dialogue, categorized by speaker... out of the 5000 that Bungie says exists. Nobody said it wouldn't keep them busy.

Gearbox's latest featured screenshot of PC halo features a motley collection of vehicles on Blood Gulch; Scorpions, Banshees, Warthogs and Ghosts. We've added it to our PC Halo Gallery.

A whole bunch of new vids have cropped up in the past few days, most of which were pointed out by Louis Wu at HBO.

• GameSpy has a 141 mb video of PC Halo multiplayer action... but you have to be a member to see it.
• Master Chief Casting Call is a humorous vid from the guys at TruthandReconciliation.com; it's also mirrored by Tec[H]noGeeK.
• UNSC.net has a new video series by Ctrl Alt Delete Productions; the first installment is called The Beginning Of The End - Intro (catchy).
• GameSpot has five new PC Halo vids, about 65 mb in all, but only available to subscribers.
