Myth III Berserks to be better-groomed
In the course of replying to a FutureMyth thread on naval units, Santa's Head dropped some info nuggets about the Myth III units. Among other things, he's currently texturing Connacht; the Ghфl's running animation is scarily arachnid-like; and the Thrall are going to be even more repulsive than they were before. :-) Read the whole post below.
Creation Shows Project Teasers
If you head over to the Creation website, you will find three new upcoming projects listed. The first is MythWarrior, which strongly suggests some sort of conversion of MechWarrior to Myth. The second project is The Coming Of The Dark: Banks Of The Ire, which must be a continuation of the group's The Coming Of The Dark series. Finally, there is an image of a warrior with the text Swamp Of The Damned.
Xbox for Preorder at Chips & Bits
While browsing around the Internet just now, I just discovered the first Xbox preorder option I've yet been able to find. Currently, it's being offered by Chips & Bits for $429. Don't draw too much from this, however... Chips & Bits has always seemed to allow early preorders, and they can always revise the price downwards. They also still have Halo for the Mac and PC listed for a release date of June 2001.

Head over to the Bungie Webcam ASAP. They're unloading HALO loot! I've seen a few HALO T-shirts so far, but nothing else. It does look quite busy, so don't miss it!
Scott Campbell talks to Clanger.com
The guys at Clanger.com have apparently been talking to the Myth III team on a regular basis, and they got Scott Campbell to answer a few preliminary questions. Among other things, he mentions more TFL-esque gameplay and a solid deadline of Christmas. Microsoft Taking a Loss on the X-Box
ZDNet news cites Merril Lynch in reporting that Microsoft will be taking a hefty loss on each Xbox. Perhaps as much as $125 per unit, and that's before taking into account sales, marketing and other administrative costs.
