Weekly Halo Update
As pointed out by several people (kudos for all), the folk at Battleground: Halo have recieved Matt's Weekly Halo Update. For the most part discussing the steady progress being made by the team, the update does offer a few tasty tidbits. An excerpt:

Customize Your Computer Oni Style
Oni Week at Custer's Corner is now complete. You can find five premium Oni desktop images that are available in nine different resolutions.
Ken Charron of Ken's Corner has designed a desktop of his own, too. The image sports Konoko leaping at the screen and has some great screenshots on the sides. It's available in five resolutions.
All Oni Offers Demo Walkthrough
The recently launched All Oni site has posted a walkthrough of the demo, including level 2. The feature includes images and a step by step source through each level, and begins right here.
Configure Oni Controls On The Web
Oni Central has posted a CGI script that will generate your Oni controls for you. The Oni Key Configuration Script displays pull-down menus for you to select the key you wish to bind. Once you have set your controls, a text document is generated for you. Simply paste the information into the key_config.txt file in your Oni folder, save, and you're set.
The script was written by My Modem Is On Fire and Yeroen of Bungie, although it is an unsupported tool.
More PS2 Oni Reviews
Two more reviews have popped up on the web, this time from IGNPS2 and Inside PS2 Games. IGNPS2 commended Oni's mixing of the genres and said it has a good lasting appeal, stating that it's long and deep action wise, so you'll be playing for a long time. Oni received a 7.3 out of 10 overall. Full review...
Inside PS2 Games was a little easier on Oni, giving it a 7.75 out of 10 overall. Here was the review's bottom line:
Halo Keeps a Spot in PC Gamer's Top Ten Anticipated Titles
Merkinjata passed on that PC Gamer's monthly Waiting is the Hardest Part feature again comes out with Halo in the top ten, though this time just a bit lower than last:
GOD Opens Hints Section
The support page of the official Oni web site has opened its hints section. The newly created area walks through the first chapter of the game detailing every aspect of the opening level. Keep an eye out, as it's likely the hints section will expand to include other levels.
