Well, i was thinking for the past few days, and i thought that bungie should make a halo movie. It would be the biggest hit of the year. So many people would love to watch since there are so many halo fans out there....so think about it
I think you really know your stuff. I have read "Halo: Fall of Reach" and they make MAJOR hints about taking the fight to the Covenent. Master Chief's mission was to board a covenent ship, get the coordinates of the covents homeworld, have cortana fly it there, land on the planet, capture(not kill) one of the Covenent Prophits, return to Earth with the Prophit, and try to nagotiate a treaty. However the Covenent attacked Reach and MC had to stay and help, and then he had to leave to go to HALO.
Also, I think the idea of a Medieval Halo-type game would be kick ass. Maybe they'll make a mod on Xbox Live that you can download that changes the appearence of weapons and scenery, or a whole new game. Either would be cool because its from BUNGIE.

Actually, I'm fairly certain they've already said they'll stop at 2-- not 3.
The press release for Halo 2 said it would "bring to a conclusion the story of the Master Chief."
Of course, things like that DO tend to change sometimes. But no Bungie series has ever had more than 3 games, and in each case Bungie did not do the third game themselve.s
I think they should have a series that showed how the Covenant rose from an Early civilization to their great Empire to the Human Covenant war. Or maybe do the Human/Covenant war from the Covenant point of view, or possibly have a game that goes into the Forerunners' point of view. I don't know about you all I just don't want to see a good plot like Halo die out.
There relly wont be a HALO 3. The sotry closes in HALO 2. There gona bring it to the Covennent and win(im guessing win) and therefore it ends right then and there. And no, its not me saying this, BUngie themselfvs have siad numerous times there wont be abother HALO game........or at least a HALO game that takes place further in the future. I wonder whats is gona hapen with the other Halo's in HALO 2...

Maby they will do the Forerunner thingey. That seems to be the best thing. The war from the Covies point of view would suck....concidering that your kickin ass then the MC comes in and murders you.....
The Forerunner would be a freakin awesome game! Fighting with their Beam weapons. Like what happend in HALO 1, your fighting on Halo between the Covies and the Humans and then BAM another evil race comes in.
There were 2 sides (according to a thory i read) in the Forerunner time. The good Forerunner and then Reble Forerunner. So then, the good Forerunner made the Flood. Then something went horribly wrong with the Flood( they were under the good Forerunner's command) and they turned. So you lern of the story of the Forerunner.
Awesome idea. Im gona pester Bungie with that after HALO 2 comes out.

I think it would be cool if there Halo had a battlefeild:1942-esque massively multiplayer online feature, with the war between the humans and covannant going on in real time in cyberspace, just an idea though, i don't know how pheasable it is. I guss i would have to be in Halo 2 for the PC.

In "Assault on the Control Room" when you emerge from the deep cave, and you fend off the covenant forces, if you go over to the right, past the big ramp, there's a wraith (covenant mortor tank), un-occupied. Well, as soon as you see it, an Elite starts running as fast as he can for it, and it seems as though there's no possible way to stop him (since you don't have a sniper rifle. Has anyone else noticed this?
Theoreticly-- If you COULD stop him (before he gets to it), you might be able to get into the wraith...
Any thoughts/ideas? (Note, you can go around the left and see him running for it too... either side works, just the right is closer).
One of the marines in the 2nd battle when you first get outside has a sniper. And there MAY be a sniper amongst the weapons scattered by the crashed dropship (I forgot to look there).
I'm tired of playing that level at the moment, but I'll go back and try again later, to see if I can pick that guy off before he gets to the wraith.
In the meantime anyone else is welcome to try, just let me know how it turns out. That'd be awesome if you could really drive that thing.

No dice. I've managed to pick the Elite out of the tank on Two Betrayals, near the beginning, and for my efforts I find an unusable, intact, unpiloted tank.
You can walk to it, run around it, and try to get into it, but the Wraith is tagged as a vehicle that the MC (and BoBs?) can't get into.
sorry if someones said this. but, when you get to the scorpion take the rocket launcher. head throught the canyon straight ahead. dont take the tunnel. look up and you'll see a platform. take the rocket launcher and fire up to the middle. a banshee will fall off. go on through the level in the banshee. go the way you normally would to beat the level. soon you should come out of the tunnel where the dropship is. head past that and you will see the wraith. no one around. drop down and land. you cant get in though

No can do, i can't say absolutely not but i stole a banshee under the two bridges before the controll room canyon, and flew it up ie not doin the up n down in the lifts, when u get to the controll room canyon with the pyramid type structure there is a wraith tank there, as there are no covenant types around when you do the level this way, it wasn't charging around. It was empty but I still couldn't drive the damn thing, try it .

Yup. Wraiths aren't drivable anywhere in the game.
I found this video which shows you a good way of stopping the elite from getting in the wraith in single player. You need to get a marine with a sniper rifle (one of the sergents) in the side seat of a warthog and drive it there. As soon as you enter the area you need to drive as fast as you possibly can to the wraith. With a bit of luck he'll shoot the elite before he gets in!

I know, bit of a pain. It'd be really cool to drive a wraith.
Some people think that there could still be a drivable one in Halo though. Bungie have been very quiet about the idea so maybe you can. Personally I think it's more likely that you can't but you never know.

Yes i have noticed, but you cannot get inside it if ukill the elite. U can get there without having to fight if u use the banshee

ive done it u just use da tank and shoot him but u cant get in the wraith
you can get a sniper rifle when you first go out side by the jeep or later from the blck soilder next to the tank and it is possible to kill the wraith piolt before he gets to the wraith but you cant get in.
also if you just head for the wraith at full speed in the feep you can ram it just as the piolts getting in and kill him that way.
oh yeah and if this knocks the wraith upside down you can flip it with x but thats the nearest you get to piolting it.
This is how you can get into the Wraith (covenent battle tank).
First you select the Two Betrails level on any difficulty with 2 players. Then complete the part where you are leaving The Control Room. After you get outside and defeat your foes, go get the sniper rifle where the secret stash of weponry is. Then go and kill your foes UNTIL you get to the second level. (Hint: If you go to the place where the rocket loncher is then you will not get the Wraith.) Next, have someone (whichever person has the sniper rifle) double zoom on the tank. If you notice, there is nobody in the tank. Then have someone jump to the bottom level and the person with the sniper shoot the Elite as soon as they see it. After you kill the Elite nothing else will get into the Wraith and it is yours for the taking. You may kill your foes who are guarding the Wraith or you can get past them easily and kill them with the Wraith. Which do you think is more fun?

I have tried this trick and have successfully killed the driver, but it does not let you get in the wraith. Am I doing something wrong or have you made this up for the sake of it?

You can't do this. I've tried on both the assault on the control room and on 2 betrayals. I've even shot the pilot right as he climbs in so he leaves the little hatch open. Some one said that you could pilot a Wraith on a hacked version of halo though.

In the shipping version of Halo, the Wraith isn't pilotable-- that's it.
It may be possible with a modded Xbox, I'm not sure.

You cannot get into the Wraith tank!!! Have you ever fought a wrath with a banshee? Well I got board in the level Two Betrayals and just goofed off. After blowing up the Wraith tank again and again, I decided to just crash into it, well on my way down flying full ahead speed at the tank, I hit it in the rear and almost flipped it. So I thought I would give it another shot, and after a few trys I flipped the tank and out came the elite, ran is sorry butt over and got out. When I walked up to the Wraith tank, the option came up to flip the tank, I got really excited, when you flip this thing it goes crazy and lands upside-down again. But after a few tries I got it to land on correctly and I walked up to it. NOTHING, nothing happens, and you cant get in, I dont even know how the elite falls out. Also another weird thing is unlike the Banshee and the Ghost, if you shoot this thing while it is unmanned it will still blow up. TRUST me about this, try it and find out for yourself. You can mow down the Wraith driver with the Wartog. You have to go full speed at the Elight to kill him. Although this is a big help you cannot actually drive the Covernant Wraith
on two betrayals after you snipe out the driver when hes getting in the wraith and after you kill all the other covinant it is fun to take the banshees and knock the raith inot strange places. one time iknocked the wraith and a bunch of cocanant bodies in to the hole in the middle of the battlefeild and hit all the bodies so blood went everywhere, including on the wraith, and it looked realy cool!

For one thing, stop trying so hard to kill the driver of the wraith. There are places where you can cause a glitch and the pilot who drives it never appears. Assault on the control room, just after you get the tank, there is a ledge past that. (The final destination of Two Betrayals) Make sure you have the rocket launcher, and shoot around the bottom of the platform. If you hit it just right, a Banshee will fall from the sky like a gift from the gods. Now that you have this, anything past the point where you see the Covenant dropship at the top of the hill will not spawn. Great way to beat the level on legendary, since if you do it right, it only take 5 more minutes, and you won't have a single encounter. But anyway, my point was the Wraith. On the other side of the high platau, there is an unmanned Wraith. Yay! Problem is, the guys at Bungie never programmed a way to use the Wraith. Why? Because it's more mathematical than the other vehicles. Do you really want to sit there and calculate both the neccesary arc it would take just to hit that right spot, as well as factor in the expected spot of your target? Umm, I'll answer for you...NO. Way to much work, and the game has enough glitches as it is.
why ar u peeple bothering with all that "getting the banshee" and "shooting the pilot" cr@p when there are perfectly good unpiloted wraith tanks all over the place in "truth and reconciliation"?
Its hard coded into the game that you cant piolt the Wraith. And sas for the one in the truth and reconciliation...you can't even get on the ghost in there. Im sure that bungie ment for the wraith to be drivin but with microsoft biting there asses to ficish the game they left it out like alot of things. you know the fuel rod gunn the grunts carry? you were supposed to be able to get it but it blows up mainly because they didn't have time to finish all the details. Theres alot of crazy stuff like that. If you've ever managed to get outside of the Pillar of autom on the first level, walk up to the ring you find a message saing "Press x to flip (insert string here)".
So technicly that halo in the beggining with the menu is a vehicle!. any way you can't get in the wraith until the PC version comes out and then you guys can hack your way through the game more than likely
I've killed the Elite before and you can't get in the tank.
Besides you can't get in Wraiths anyway (in Truth and Reconciliation there is a wraith in the holding bay and you can't get in).

If u do the no enemies trick u get to the part with all the shades on the hill, there is an unarmed wraith there and u cannot get in it. i wish u could but o well.

Maby they will do the Forerunner thingey. That seems to be the best thing. The war from the Covies point of view would suck....concidering that your kickin ass then the MC comes in and murders you.....
The Forerunner would be a freakin awesome game! Fighting with their Beam weapons. Like what happend in HALO 1, your fighting on Halo between the Covies and the Humans and then BAM another evil race comes in.
There were 2 sides (according to a thory i read) in the Forerunner time. The good Forerunner and then Reble Forerunner. So then, the good Forerunner made the Flood. Then something went horribly wrong with the Flood( they were under the good Forerunner's command) and they turned. So you lern of the story of the Forerunner.
Awesome idea. Im gona pester Bungie with that after HALO 2 comes out.

I think it would be cool if there Halo had a battlefeild:1942-esque massively multiplayer online feature, with the war between the humans and covannant going on in real time in cyberspace, just an idea though, i don't know how pheasable it is. I guss i would have to be in Halo 2 for the PC.

The Wraith
In "Assault on the Control Room" when you emerge from the deep cave, and you fend off the covenant forces, if you go over to the right, past the big ramp, there's a wraith (covenant mortor tank), un-occupied. Well, as soon as you see it, an Elite starts running as fast as he can for it, and it seems as though there's no possible way to stop him (since you don't have a sniper rifle. Has anyone else noticed this?
Theoreticly-- If you COULD stop him (before he gets to it), you might be able to get into the wraith...
Any thoughts/ideas? (Note, you can go around the left and see him running for it too... either side works, just the right is closer).

No dice. I've managed to pick the Elite out of the tank on Two Betrayals, near the beginning, and for my efforts I find an unusable, intact, unpiloted tank.
You can walk to it, run around it, and try to get into it, but the Wraith is tagged as a vehicle that the MC (and BoBs?) can't get into.
It'd still be fun, though :)

In reply to: Re: The Wraithsorry if someones said this. but, when you get to the scorpion take the rocket launcher. head throught the canyon straight ahead. dont take the tunnel. look up and you'll see a platform. take the rocket launcher and fire up to the middle. a banshee will fall off. go on through the level in the banshee. go the way you normally would to beat the level. soon you should come out of the tunnel where the dropship is. head past that and you will see the wraith. no one around. drop down and land. you cant get in though

In reply to: Re: The WraithNo can do, i can't say absolutely not but i stole a banshee under the two bridges before the controll room canyon, and flew it up ie not doin the up n down in the lifts, when u get to the controll room canyon with the pyramid type structure there is a wraith tank there, as there are no covenant types around when you do the level this way, it wasn't charging around. It was empty but I still couldn't drive the damn thing, try it .

I know, bit of a pain. It'd be really cool to drive a wraith.
Some people think that there could still be a drivable one in Halo though. Bungie have been very quiet about the idea so maybe you can. Personally I think it's more likely that you can't but you never know.

Yes i have noticed, but you cannot get inside it if ukill the elite. U can get there without having to fight if u use the banshee

also if you just head for the wraith at full speed in the feep you can ram it just as the piolts getting in and kill him that way.
oh yeah and if this knocks the wraith upside down you can flip it with x but thats the nearest you get to piolting it.

First you select the Two Betrails level on any difficulty with 2 players. Then complete the part where you are leaving The Control Room. After you get outside and defeat your foes, go get the sniper rifle where the secret stash of weponry is. Then go and kill your foes UNTIL you get to the second level. (Hint: If you go to the place where the rocket loncher is then you will not get the Wraith.) Next, have someone (whichever person has the sniper rifle) double zoom on the tank. If you notice, there is nobody in the tank. Then have someone jump to the bottom level and the person with the sniper shoot the Elite as soon as they see it. After you kill the Elite nothing else will get into the Wraith and it is yours for the taking. You may kill your foes who are guarding the Wraith or you can get past them easily and kill them with the Wraith. Which do you think is more fun?

You can't do this. I've tried on both the assault on the control room and on 2 betrayals. I've even shot the pilot right as he climbs in so he leaves the little hatch open. Some one said that you could pilot a Wraith on a hacked version of halo though.

Well I got board in the level Two Betrayals and just goofed off. After blowing up the Wraith tank again and again, I decided to just crash into it, well on my way down flying full ahead speed at the tank, I hit it in the rear and almost flipped it. So I thought I would give it another shot, and after a few trys I flipped the tank and out came the elite, ran is sorry butt over and got out. When I walked up to the Wraith tank, the option came up to flip the tank, I got really excited, when you flip this thing it goes crazy and lands upside-down again. But after a few tries I got it to land on correctly and I walked up to it. NOTHING, nothing happens, and you cant get in, I dont even know how the elite falls out. Also another weird thing is unlike the Banshee and the Ghost, if you shoot this thing while it is unmanned it will still blow up. TRUST me about this, try it and find out for yourself. For one thing, stop trying so hard to kill the driver of the wraith. There are places where you can cause a glitch and the pilot who drives it never appears. Assault on the control room, just after you get the tank, there is a ledge past that. (The final destination of Two Betrayals) Make sure you have the rocket launcher, and shoot around the bottom of the platform. If you hit it just right, a Banshee will fall from the sky like a gift from the gods. Now that you have this, anything past the point where you see the Covenant dropship at the top of the hill will not spawn. Great way to beat the level on legendary, since if you do it right, it only take 5 more minutes, and you won't have a single encounter. But anyway, my point was the Wraith. On the other side of the high platau, there is an unmanned Wraith. Yay! Problem is, the guys at Bungie never programmed a way to use the Wraith. Why? Because it's more mathematical than the other vehicles. Do you really want to sit there and calculate both the neccesary arc it would take just to hit that right spot, as well as factor in the expected spot of your target? Umm, I'll answer for you...NO. Way to much work, and the game has enough glitches as it is.

Im sure that bungie ment for the wraith to be drivin but with microsoft biting there asses to ficish the game they left it out like alot of things. you know the fuel rod gunn the grunts carry? you were supposed to be able to get it but it blows up mainly because they didn't have time to finish all the details. Theres alot of crazy stuff like that. If you've ever managed to get outside of the Pillar of autom on the first level, walk up to the ring you find a message saing "Press x to flip (insert string here)".
So technicly that halo in the beggining with the menu is a vehicle!. any way you can't get in the wraith until the PC version comes out and then you guys can hack your way through the game more than likely

Probably the greatest individual Halo trickster-- Frogblast-- managed to do this.
The trick is, when the level starts, jump back into the cryo chamber. When the door closes, it pushes you back up into the ceiling.

Besides you can't get in Wraiths anyway (in Truth and Reconciliation there is a wraith in the holding bay and you can't get in).

If u do the no enemies trick u get to the part with all the shades on the hill, there is an unarmed wraith there and u cannot get in it. i wish u could but o well.
