Rampancy

News spam time! After purging my long unused email account of some 380 spam messages (and 20 apologies from my ISP for said spam), my tgreen@revelstoke.net addy is now working like a charm. The change is because it is more reliable than my former address, which will likely be terminated as soon as my former hosts notice it.

Due to the purge, I may've lost a few messages recieved in the last few hours... if I'm unusually slow in responding, try resending, just to be on the safe side.

Bah, after two months of checking Apple's Quicktime Showcase on a daily basis, Hamish and Marathon's Story still scooped me on this one! ;)

As widely expected, Apple has made Halo a featured item at their Quicktime Showcase site, virtually guaranteeing it thousands of additional viewers. Probably more. Time to pretty our sites up a bit, we may have visitors.

There were a few difficulties with the forum earlier today, partly due to a missing file. Sorry about any lost posts, though I think I got them all. Things seem to be working nicely now, though, and the archive will be operating sometime tomorrow. Depending on how the upload goes, of course.

As a part of settling back into the daily routine, I've set up a new poll (having lost the last one). A controversial topic this time: which would you prefer for Halo, a first or third person perspective?

There is a very vocal group of players for both sides, but I wonder what the usually silent majority thinks about this. And just in case you're impartial, there's an Undecided option too, in case you'd rather wait and see how Bungie handles the issue.
