Well, in a manner of speaking.
Right now there's a new piece of reading material put in front of the webcam, and this time I don't think the author is a Yale law professor.
The top of the page reads in part:
And then Bendigeidfran commanded his head to be cut off. 'And take the head,' he said, 'and carry it to the [unreadable] Mount in London, and bury it with its face towards [unreadable]. And you will be a long time ypon the road. In Hazelton, you will be feasting seven years, and the birth of Rhiannon [unreadable] unto you. And the head will be as pleasant [unreadable] ever it was at best when it was [unreadable].
I could be on crack, but this sounds a lot more like Myth... uh, I mean, some other kind of fantasy, possibly siege-related game, rather than Halo.
A quick turn around the web reveals some links that might possibly shed some light:

MWA has posted a link to a new international Myth III preview. Written in Italian, the preview is fairly lengthy and has some good but old screenshots accompanying it. Who knows if any of the information is new though...
HBO has assembled a page full of screenshot captures from GameSpot's new Halo videos.
Also, Korrupt posted a link to his server in the HBO forum, which is now hosting two of the larger Halo videos because many people are having difficulties with GameSpot's servers. Get them while they're still hot!
Inside Mac Games has reported that they are accepting Mac Myth III pre-orders in their online store. It looks like you have to be a MacGames CD subscriber to take advantage of the deal, but in case you are, then you can pre-order Myth III for $35 plus shipping charges. You can find out more details in IMG's online store and expect the game to be released in mid-November.
According to ActiveXbox, online video game rental service RedOctane will have all of the Xbox's launch titles available for rental on November 15th at a 7-day rental price of $6.95. The story goes on to say that:
Roughly 20 game titles by various publishers will be available on November 15th and RedOctane will carry them all. Some of the biggest titles that'll be available at the Xbox launch include Halo, Oddworld: Munch's Odyssey, and NFL Fever 2002.
There's also a monthly membership plan for $16.95 that includes no late fees, no limit on the number of games per month and a 2 games at a time limit. More information is available in the ActiveXbox story and at RedOctane.
MythVillage has noted that the official site for the Green Berets game, based on the Myth II engine, has posted a walkthrough for the first five levels of the game. Apparently more levels are coming later.
Harry gave the heads-up to halo.bungie.org that Microsoft has started some newsgroups for the Xbox.
I have to admit I haven't delved into Usenet in quite awhile, but who knows, there might end up being some useful stuff there.
One of the groups is microsoft.public.games.halo.
CORRECTION: Thanks to Claude for pointing out an error in the newsgroup address. The correct address is microsoft.public.xbox.halo, not games.
Well, not so much as a return as a change of address. Our regular domain name, rampancy.net, now points at the new server. Everyone appreciates our readers' patience during this rather impromptu beta test; but at the very least it made sure we got the site rebuild done before the Xbox launched, which otherwise might not have happened.
The old server is still down, meaning we're as yet unable to retrieve the old forum contents, but that is our next major task. Since we've been using the new system for almost a week now, we're going to make sure that those posts are preserved-- so despite what we said earlier, the current forums won't be deleted.
One last note-- we've updated the few hard links on the site that pointed to the beta address so that they now use the proper address. But if you login with one address and then hit a link for another, you may be logged out. This should only happen during the period while the DNS is transitioning.
A group of short, stout, large-toothed pack animals just rampaged through Rampancy central headquarters, muttering something in an unintelligible language.
When we ran it through the Universal Translator, this is what came out:
Halo is currently being certified, meaning it isn't actively being worked on by Bungie Studios at this time. Unless a rather serious flaw is found, it should be certified as Gold Master.
Then they ate a few cookies and left.
