Verdafolio at demented puppy dot com has posted the rules of engagement for the upcoming When Pigs Fly warthog launching contest. Winners will get signed artwork from community regulars like Shishka, Boxer, Stuntmutt, Dogsounds, Warbow and Blackstar.

bobindashadows has posted over at Halo Mac Development that after a couple of weeks of work, he has successfully converted a map created for Halo CE, in this case the desert island map by ZexGX to work with Halo for the Mac.

Five screenshots accompany the story, showing ZexGX's map clearly running in Aqua windows.

Unfortunately, bobindashadows says that quite a bit of hand-editing work is required to do this conversion, so it looks like there will not be anything like a drag-and-drop converter anytime soon. In the absence of such an app, he'll only be converting the particular maps he thinks of as being worth it.

There's a new blog entry by Dana, the mysterious "killer" of the I Love Bees alternate reality game, where several AIs from the Halo universe somehow entered our world and are trying to escape through the website of a small honey business.

In it, she's being shown the back room of a Chinese Internet cafe where all the bootleg DVDs are. Perhaps ILB is really a collaborative project with the RIAA, to encourage fans not to pirate Halo?

After a long hiatus, there's another interview with Wideload Games Pressident Alex Seropian. To be honest, there's almost nothing in here that wasn't covered in earlier interviews, except perhaps Alex's canyon bomber game on the Commodore PET.
