Soon I will be posting my sheat music. I have made sheet music to Earth City. It was created for two pianos. It sounds cool. It will come with Pdf, Mp3, and printmusic Finale 2003. Hope you enjot it. PS: Thank you person for making the sheet music to the regular Earth city. It really helped. But I am not sure how to upload everything. Updated! It will be here in about a week. Here is a preview.
No, I don't mean an XBLA release of Marathon, as it seems that is not to be; but rather, what was thought to be a long-dormant project to make a total conversion of Marathon 1 for the Unreal Tournament engine-- Marathon Resurrection-- has finally been released as a Final Candidate.
If you find the open source version of Marathon, Aleph One, still too low-tech for your tastes, but still want to sample Bungie's pre-Halo SF trilogy, have a look.
Haven't played Wideload Games' debut effort, Stubbs the Zombie? Maybe you've never seen it in stores. Well, that's no longer an excuse; for $19.95 you can get a digital delivery of Stubbs via Steam.
InsideMacGaming notes that the Myth World Cup 2007 website has launched with a fan-produced promotional video. More details are "coming soon".
For Halo fans unfamiliar with the game, Myth is a fantastic real-time tactical combat game that eschews resource management and focuses solely on managing troops in battle. It was released for Macs and PCs, and the fan community has kept the games updated for running on modern operating systems. Two online communities exist at PlayMyth and MariusNet.
If you really don't know what Myth is, this page at ProjectMagma will tell you; if that sparks your interest, you can get a demo of Myth 2: Soulblighter.
Doing one of my regular turns around gaming news sites, I came across an interview with John Romero, of Doom and, dare I say it, Daikatana fame, now Founder/President of Slipgate Ironworks. You can find it over at Adrenaline Vault. Slipgate is supposedly working on a new MMO for the PC.
What I found interesting is this particular exchange:
3. Where is it all going? What do you see happening in the next five years and beyond?
JR: Right now MMOs, mobile and PC episodic are really polarizing into the newest most important segments in gaming. Next-gen console is big but its future isn’t too bright with the emergence of cheap PC multi-core processors and the big change the PC industry will go through during the next 5 years to accommodate the new multi-core-centric hardware designs. My prediction is that the game console in the vein of the PS3 and XBOX 360 is going to either undergo a massive rethink or go away altogether. The Wii has the perfect design for a console that doesn’t pretend to be a PC and is geared more toward casual gamers than hardcore gamers. The hardcore gamers are going to either be playing on their PCs or a new PC-like platform that sits in the living room but still serves the whole house over wifi, even the video signal.
This answer struck me as wrong in almost every important respect possible. Where it isn't wrong, it's self-contradictory. Let's take a closer look.
Ok.... Everybody has been saying that Remembrance, the Maw, and Ghosts of Reach are the same. I don't think so. I want sheet music for Remembrance from Halo 2 soundtrack Volume 2. If you still don't know what I'm talking about, go to this

Its a VERY pretty song and I would like to have it on music. Any response will be appreciated.

I was browsing through the Sheet music again when I realized..."Hey....theres no Remembrance!" Remembrance from the Halo 2 soundtrack (volume 2) was one of my FAVORITE songs. I just heard it not too long ago on an another site by "garbage-man" (I think that was his name) So the songs out there, I just can't find it. Could somebody direct me to sheet music for Piano or Orchestra for Remembrance? If nothing else, could somebody work on trying to make sheet music? Any response will be greatly appreciated!
Version 1.6 of Myth II, for which a public beta was available last summer, has now finally been officially released for Mac OS, Mac OS X, and Windows. It's available in the Myth II Updates section of the recently-launched The Tain, an archive for Myth-related files.
From ProjectMagma.net:
Myth II version 1.6, adds native MacOS X map making tools along with a Universal Binary for OS X. Not to be left out the Windows version received some modernization that drastically cut down startup times, allows the game to be played in a window, and shares the CPU better with other tasks.
This update will be of specific interest to Myth fans running Mac OS X as this update makes the game a Universal Binary, good for play on PPC and Intel machines.
Registration will open February 12 for the 5x5 Proelium Standards Myth vTFL tournament, part of the events scheduled this year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Bungie's Mac and PC RTS game, Myth: The Fallen Lords.
Thanks to Zandervix at Myth.Bungie.Org for the news.
The Power Of Ten is a simple idea: make a Myth map using only ten monster tags. Check their site for official rules. Thanks to PlayMyth for the announcement.
